About the Item

Rare 18th-century English Georgian-style secretary or butler chest, never restored with original patina, three drawers with secretary in top drop drawer, original hardware, dove tail joints connecting top to sides are slightly warped and pulled apart. Key and lock included. Show wear with paint, water, heat marks, and a faded wood graining glaze adding character to the already aged patina. The lock has come off bit can be restored easily.
