18th Century Italian Verona Louis XV Walnut Marquetry Bureau Secrétaire, 1700s

About the Item

Fantastic example of cabinet-making in Verona, we are faced with a work of art, a piece of furniture sinuous in shape, completely original in the wooden part; the handles alas have been replaced but it is permissible on a 270 years old piece of furniture! Made of precious walnut wood, this flap has a herringbone wooden game, surrounded by maple wood inlays that in addition to embellish it highlight the wooden games of marquetry. Secrétaire of measure, neither too big nor too small, easy to insert in several contexts, modern or Classic. City of Verona, three drawers and in the secrétaire part two drawers and a compartment with sliding door, on the sides there are two other drawers. The original keys are there. Furniture for amateurs.
