20th Century Burl Walnut Bombe Secretary Bookcase with Etched Glass Doors
About the Item
Italian Bombe secretaire with a distinct burl walnut grain. Highlights include the original wrought iron hinges, a hand carved decorative crown and etched mirrored panels featuring a Watteau scene in frosted glass. Inside there are four drawers and two niches above a drop down writing surface, with six shelves atop in the cabinet and one shelf below behind doors.
Probably made in the 1920s in an 18th century style.
