Art Deco Walnut Secretaire or Bureau with 4 drawers, Germany 1930s
About the Item
In this listing you will find a very striking Art Deco Walnut secretaire or bureau. As you can see the bureau has a fine piano finish showing the best of the Walnut grain. There is a half matched veneer top with fantastic rounded architectural sides. The fall front has a thumb molded edge and again beautiful half matched veneer to the front. The drawers have vertical veneers and original turned wooden handles. The sides are also finished in figured Walnut and the whole sits on an original bracket foot base. The fall front opens to reveal a well figured Walnut interior with pigeon holes and a single drawer. Made in Germany in 1930s.
Good vintage condition with some signs of time and use.
