Biedermeier Burl Wood Secretary Cabinet

About the Item

A shaped cabinet with a scrolled bonnet, a centre compartment with door opening to two shaped shelves, flanked by curved side compartments (one shelf inside at the left). Below is a roll top secretary opening to multiple drawers an a centre compartment with a door and drawer and a lift top felt covered writing surface. The lower cabinet with a faux drawer over three graduated drawers, and raised on a shaped lower apron with bracket feet. Brass keyholes overall (lacking the keys). Condition: Please see detail photos. There are chips to veneer below and the upper left shelf, some stable age cracks to the centre top cabinet door veneer which do not detract from the stately and authentic presentation
