CRAFTIQUE Solid Mahogany Chippendale Secretary Desk w/ Bookcase
About the Item
A stunning secretary desk with bookcase by top-quality furniture maker Craftique, in the style of early American John Hancock desks. Solid mahogany with their Old Wood finish, brass hardware, crown moulding to top, brass keyhole escutcheons, and ogee bracket feet. Features upper bookcase with two lockable glass doors revealing two fixed wooden shelves. Lower desk is slant front and has four large lockable drawers of dovetail construction. Drop down desk surface reveals eight drawers, six cubbies and secret compartments, one lockable. Includes four keys. Two piece construction. Made in Mebane, North Carolina, USA, in the late 20th Century.
