Early 19th Century Biedermeier Secretary,

Mahogany
Biedermeier secretary made of mahogany around 1815. A unique piece of furniture with antique charm. The secretary has a width of 111 cm, a depth of 60 cm and a height of 199 cm. The material is high quality mahogany and the color is reddish brown. Perfect for collectors and antique lovers. A beautiful piece of furniture for living rooms, libraries or offices. Single-door attachment, cornice strip with gable, door with panel, lockable, flanked by volutes, decorated with brass rosettes, following wide profile strip, flush with the attachment, underneath drawer with division and lion's head handle, cover can be folded down to Writing, following the cabinet, above a wider drawer inlaid with a small gallery inserted, underneath a door with fittings, can be moved diagonally backwards and reveals the interior, further small columns with bases and capitals in brass, 2 more on the right and left Panels with fittings move to the back and reveal 2 hidden drawers each, lower row of stepped drawers on the right and left, another drawer in the middle. Impressive cabinet with very beautiful details. Perfect architectural structure, screaming flap with coat of arms filling, 2 more large drawers with locks, a total of 4 keys included, is crowned by the full columns in the front with bases and capitals in brass.
Condition:
Condition of this secretary is very good. Carefully restored and hand-polished with shellac, body rests on block feet.
