English Mahogany Secretary
About the Item
The top of this secretary has shaped raised panels. It has the original four lever lock and key. The top is fully fitted out with drawers and cubby holes. The interior has a central prospect drawer that is crossbanded and inlaid with boxwood. The prospect drawer is flanked by two secret compartments. The aprons flanking the prospect drawer are also secret drawers. The base has fluted quarter columns that terminate in ogee feet.
