Mahogany Three-Tiered Shelf with Scrolled Legs from the Late 19th Century
About the Item
This mahogany tiered shelf from the late 19th century features three shelves over exquisite S-scroll legs. While the wooden rectangular shelves are simple in shape, the eye is immediately drawn to the lateral supports. It all starts with the volutes at the bottom, leading your eye vertically to the floral themed sides. A small size medallion at the top, adorned with a rosette, finishes the ensemble. This standing three-tiered trolley, circa 1880 would be a great addition to any room, particularly when decorated with your favorite objects.
