About the Item

We are delighted to offer this pair of exceedingly rare original 1930’s Art Deco Bronze and Steel Liberty’s of London display racks which are part of a larger suite This sale is for the matching pair pictured above, I also have four racks double the size of this and one double with cloths hanging rail listed under my other items This suite is as rare as they come in the world of shop fittings, Liberty’s never sell their fixtures and fittings and when they do, they are highly collected. This set comes complete with toughened safety glass shelves, most of the shelves are new, they are very thick, 12mm and extremely strong, tapered around the edges so there are no sharp edges, I have some spares as well which I can include for the cost price These racks have been lightly cleaned and that’s it, they have the original Art Deco patina all over which is glorious, they could be polished to a mirror finish however it’s taken nearly 100 years to get them looking like this, as such in my hands they will stay as they are. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
