French Art Deco Parchment and Black Lacquer Sideboard, 1930s
About the Item
This beautiful Art Deco sideboard was produced in France in the 1930s and has indeed a sinuous shape typical of French Art Deco pieces.
It is completely black lacquered with the exception of a central light point made up of a top, a drawer and a door all covered in high quality geometrical pieces of parchment (goat skin). The maple interiors are really wide, it is not only a unique and beautiful piece of furniture but it is also really functional.
The keyholes, the keys and the handles are in polished brass.
It has been completely restored in our laboratories.
