About the Item

Danish Mid-Century Teak Sideboard by Skovby, 1960s. Very classic and iconic type of low credenza of the Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern era. This sideboard features three sliding doors with inlaid carved pulls. Behind the doors is ample space with shelves and two drawers. The drawers are made from solid teak and beech wood with half blind dovetail joints. Top drawer with felt lined bottom. Great proportions with a length of 180 cm and a height of 74 cm. Also very suitable as hifi furniture. Original makers mark both on the back and inside cabinet. Good original vintage condition with light patina consistent with age and use including some scratching on the middle of the top, please see photos. Cleaned and polished, ready for use.
