The pair of locking doors feature original latticework brass grillwork and they open to reveal an upholstered interior with two fixed shelves. GEORGE III MAHOGANY DIMINUTIVE SECRETARY WITH BOOKCASE England, circa 1780 Item # 307PZN13W A very fine secretary desk of diminutive proportions, this fabulous form features an upper bookcase with a cove-molded cornice over a pair of glazed doors with eight panels each, these divided with original astragal moldings, opening to reveal an adjustable three-shelf space bookcase. The doors are beautifully embellished with fluted pilasters boasting Ionic capitals that are exquisitely detailed with rich undercutting. The lower case features a brushing slide situated over five rows of graduated drawers, the second from the top cleverly fitted with a green baize writing surface that pushes back to reveal storage space beneath while the faceted glass inkwell bottles (one missing the lid) and double trough pen tray are situated along the right side. The timbers selected for the case are above reproach and present with a ruby hue throughout that is incredibly appealing, this finished under a glowing silky French polish to the mahogany veneers throughout. Classic English Regency, this handsome mahogany stepdown sideboard features two large deep drawers and one center hidden drawer at top and two larger drawers beside; one with a lead liner for decanters. There are two four-paneled doors at bottom flanked with spiral reeded columns. This very substancial piece stands on eight turned feet and retains the original brasses and keys. Suitable as a buffet or with a free standing bowl, a bathroom sink with ample counter space.

This is a superb antique English Regency flame mahogany shaped serpentine bowfront sideboard, Circa 1820 in date. It is crossbanded, bordered with ebony lines and fitted with a central frieze drawer above a recessed arched apron drawer. It is flanked by two short drawers to one side and a cellarette drawer to the other. It has superb decorative brass foliate anthemion ring handles and is raised on elegant ring turned tapered legs. Fitted with working locks and keys. Add an elegant touch to a special place in your home with this superb antique sideboard.
