An exquisite English solid oak sideboard, made by Brights of Nettlebed and dating from the late 20th Century. This beautiful sideboard has been hand-crafted in solid oak and features a rectangular top with three drawers in the frieze above three panelled doors opening to cupboards with central shelves. Condition: In really excellent condition having only been cleaned and waxed in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation. Oak wood has a density of about 0.75 g/cm3, great strength and hardness, and is very resistant to insect and fungal attack because of its high tannin content.
