We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely original Howard & Son’s Berners street late Victorian light mahogany linen press
A very well made and collectable piece, produced by the finest seating manufacturer in the history of seating, Howard!
This piece is based on an early Georgian design, it is circa 1880-1900 and comes with a 100% mahogany frame which is very light and has a wonderful patina
We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, the piece can be stripped back stained and French polished a lot darker should the new owner wish, personally I love it as it is

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
