About the Item
Elegant South German Biedermeier wardrobe from the early 19th century, veneered in richly grained walnut on a solid spruce body. The surface displays a striking mirrored veneer pattern with warm golden-brown tones typical of the period. The cabinet is constructed in a traditional demountable system – it can be easily dismantled into top and bottom sections, two side panels, back panel and both doors, all connected with classic wedge joints. This simple and clever design allows effortless assembly and transport.
The lock is fully functional, and the brass key has been supplemented. On request, custom-made softwood (spruce) shelves can be added to fit perfectly and finished in a tone matching the interior.
A finely restored and authentic Biedermeier piece that combines timeless elegance, excellent craftsmanship and practical usability in modern interiors.
