If you look at the photos provided you will see the intricately detailed Bronze Ormolu Mounts a process where a thing layer of gold is applied to the bronze as well as the beautiful floral and deco style inlay throughout the piece! Maison Krieger was one of the most influential and important furniture makers of the 19th and early 20th century! It was founded by Antoine Krieger in 1826 and was family run until the early 20th century! They specialized in high end Louis XV and Louis XVI Style Formal Furniture and then moved into french art deco before they closed their doors. This piece is equipped with 5 spacious drawers on each side of the piece perfect for storing your clothing or belongings as well as a shelf in the middle accompanied by two brass rods that make hanging your pressed clothing up easy! (rods are not shown in place throughout photos) The piece is in good antique condition with light surface scratches, minor tarnishing to bronze mounts as well as some more prominent scratches that will be touched up by our in house refinisher before leaving our facility. Please note that this item is antique and has been used so expect some minor imperfections that are consistent with age and use. Otherwise good condition.
