Stunning Inlaid 18th-Century, French Alsacian Cabinet

About the Item

The veneer patterning is exceptional throughout and especially on the door panels, where it is matched on all four main panels. The cupboard is very early, but so beautifully made, in some ways the age is surprising. The hard woods and the amazing craftsmanship have made this an outstanding and long-lasting piece of furniture. Please look at the thumbnails and note how the marquetry and inlays are assembled like a puzzle. The armoire will be the showpiece of any home.
