Some of these individuals are gently wavy, soft and sculpted, others appear edgy and rough. Often Eckehard Weimann hides the source material under a skin of paint and metal. He likes to experiment with unusual materials. Thus, some of his work is covered with metals such as gold, bronze or titanium... Weimann's handmade objects are the result of his precise experience in various craft disciplines, which combine the aesthetic concepts of a sculptor with the functional thinking of a furniture maker and master carpenter.
