18th Century Folding Georgian Tea Table with Dentil Molding

About the Item

A charming Georgian mahogany card or tea table in mellow mahogany. The piece folds out to double its usable surface, and can be stored in the closed position as an attractive side table. The hand cut dentil molding at the base of the drawer is the highlight of the piece, as are the original brass escutcheons. The mahogany is slightly lighter on the fold-down side, as it has been against a wall and somewhat protected from the elements. When open, the depth of the table goes from 17 inches to 32.5 inches. A small section of the dentil molding has been replaced.
