19th Century Paris Game Table with Envelop Top

About the Item

This game table has fine parquetry and inlay of mixed woods suggesting the artisan work of a Parisian ebineste. The table has a veneer edge and is chamfered. The delicately tapered legs have fine inlay and bronze foot caps. The table has one drawer. A unique turning action lifts the envelop top to expose the game board. The felt game board is original.
