Sally Sirken Lewis for J. Robert Scott Goatskin Game Table, circa 1980s. A beautiful and Classic design.
Measurements - Overall: 29 ½" high x 36" wide x 36" deep, Chair Opening: 25 ¾" high x 27 ¾" wide.
Sally Sirkin Lewis began her career in the late 1950s working as a design assistant to Henry End in Miami Florida. She then moved on to New York as a freelance designer for multiple corporations and fashion showrooms until the late 60s, when she relocated to Los Angeles.
In 1972 she became the first woman to open a showroom on Melrose Avenue in the design district when she established her luxury furniture and textile company in Los Angeles called J. Robert Scott. In addition to the Los Angeles location, the company owned showrooms in New York, Chicago, Dallas and London.
Ms. Lewis served as President and Chairman of J. Robert Scott designing the textiles, furniture, lighting and accessories, as well as designing interiors for international clients from Japan to Moscow and from Bangkok to Provence, France.
Over the course of her career Ms. Lewis was been awarded more than 150 U.S. Design Patents for her iconic furniture designs. -Interior Design.
