20th Century Antique Louis XV Style French Salon Table Bronze Mahogany veneer

About the Item

Majestic French salon table in Louis XV style. Polished veneer on solid pinewood. Exceptionally finest engraved, decorative broken rocailles, inlaid with acanthus, and flowered details. On two forward looking imposing bearded devils masks on curved legs ending in sabots. Multi-sided, bowed one-drawered border. Overhanging multi-curved table platter, with profiled engraved Bronze framing and gold tooled leather inlay. The leather plate is used and has some small scratches.
