English Elizabeth I Oak 16th Century Refectory or Center Table
About the Item
English Elizabethan oak refectory, center or dining table, the two -plank top with small "breadboard" ends above a surrounding frieze with molded edges, supported by turned and fluted baluster legs of typical form, joined by surrounding molded stretchers, standing on turned feet.
The table has a simple elegance, with the beautiful elongated balusters of the legs being the outstanding decorative Elements, and the deep warm patina, enhancing its character.
