Italian 18th Century Louis XVI Period Walnut, Giltwood and Marble Center Table
About the Item
A handsome Italian 18th century Louis XVI period walnut, giltwood, and marble center table. The table is raised by impressive square tapered legs with a most unique elegant fluted design and Fine topie shaped giltwood feet. Above each leg are richly carved giltwood floral rosettes flanking the straight apron which is centered by an X-shaped finely detailed giltwood floral and foliate reserve also repeated at each side and back. Above is the original rectangular Brèche Violette marble top with a mottled border.
