This set of two handcrafted Marcelino center tables is a unique creation by Leon Leon Design from Mexico City. Both are made of solid tropical Parota wood and hand-carved, the big one comes with a black and white marble tabletop.
Dimensions :
Big table: diameter 45 cm / height 30 cm
Little table: diameter 35 cm / height 23 cm
The Parota wood or Huanacaxtle is a tropical / humidity-resistant wood from the Mexican Pacific coast. Parota is a natural highly veined wood which gives strong contrast of colors. Therefore each piece is unique and may present differences from the reference picture.

Leon Leon Design is a handmade studio based in “la Ciudad de México”, each piece we produce is handcrafted in our workshops by experienced artisans. Inspired by the famous Acapulco Chair from the Mexican 50’s and Mid-Century modern, we design colorful handcrafted products for the home and public spaces. Since 2013 we are working to offer a wide varity of materials, including sustainable and innovative alternatives such as vegetal fibers: Henequén (agave fiber), jute and pinapple leather. From carpenters to wealthers we focus on craftsmanship for every single piece. We aim to bring back the old fashioned know-how into modern furniture you will love for years.
