Black glass and brass teardrop swivel cocktail table by DIA, signed
Signed (Design Institute American, Inc. 1983, DIA 48447). Attributed to Rougier for The Design Institute of America (DIA) modernist teardrop rotating cocktail table. The table features 2 rotating tears with reverse painted black inset glass panels in a sturdy anodized metal frame. The teardrop shape swivels open is several directions as shown.
The heavy/ sturdy base prevents tipping and is covered in a black fabric. These table are designed with a solid and smooth rotating mechanism that moves and floats easily. Measurements: Closed W 43 1/2", W 36", H 14". Opens to 66".
