Willy Ceysens, coffee table, cast aluminum, Belgium, 1970s Alluring coffee table designed by Willy Ceysens. This remarkable item is a true eye catcher with its outstanding cast aluminum exterior. The silver square tabletop with an eye-like engraving in the middle forms the center of this composition. Furthermore the surface of the aluminum has distinct etching marks by design, giving the top a rugged relief. The square silver base underneath gives the top a floating appearance.  Willy Ceysens (1929 - 2007) was a Belgian artist who created aluminum sculptures and design objects.
