Douglas Fanning's unique bean table has an amorphous, polished mahogany top and rests upon curved, blackened steel legs. This beautifully abstract creation functions with an elegant simplicity befitting its form, pulling apart into two modular pieces. Made by hand, it is a work of supreme craftsmanship, representing hours of painstaking and expert labor.
Drawing from his knowledge of art and design (in addition to his architectural expertise), Douglas Fanning continually pushes the boundaries between form and physics to create clean, fluid, yet uncompromisingly daring pieces.
