About the Item
This Table is a handmade and modernized interpretation of the French Directoire style at the end of the 18th century. This period is remarkable with its straight, classical and timeless lines.
It is made of French solid oak. The sourcing of the solid wood comes from sustainably managed French forests.
Its classical finish consists of chestnut oak stain and satin varnish.
The back and forth drawer ( disguised as two) features a vertical separation and two brass knobs.
GONTIER, a brand of MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS group, provides you exclusively with 100% made in France classical and contemporary pieces of furniture.
The manufacture of each furniture is made accordingly to traditional French techniques of woodworking by small craft workshops in the western countryside of France (Loire Valley and Bretagne).
We offer a 5 year warranty on each piece.

MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS
MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS is a new brand launched in September 2018 by Eric Weiler (founder) and Eric Gizard (designer). We deliver 100% made in France high-end and top quality furniture pieces. Main material is wood, mainly ash, oak and cherry. Our wood comes exclusively from sustainably managed French forests. The craft-handed manufacture in the Loire Countryside and Bretagne ensures robustness and a very long life cycle for each piece. All our models are already fully assembled in our workshops. Eric Gizard is a famous French Designer in Paris and works several Fashion and Luxury Brands. He sublimates with his very fluid and elegant design each piece of our collections EGEE and KUBE. More over and previous to the launch of MON PETIT MEUBLE FRANCAIS, in 2010, Eric Weiler took over an old cabinet-maker named GONTIER established in France since 1920. French Traditional pieces and new designed models from GONTIER are also proposed on 1st Dibs.
This Coffee Table is also available in French Solid Cherry (same price).
