Italian Coffee Table in Brass and Glass, 1950
About the Item
Beautiful and eye catching Italian Coffee table from 1950. Just a beautiful one piece brass casting made in the style of Fontana Arte, or at least heavily influenced by it's founder, Gio Ponti. This distinctive piece is in original condition with patina to the brass and the way the legs are shaped and stand on the floor is very interesting. The sheet of glass on top makes it a sculptural but functional piece of artwork. It has a very minor fleabite chip from the glass which is pointed out on the pictures. Table has a nice modest size, and would definitely be a great addition to any eclectic interior.
