About the Item

Rare vintage coffee table designed by Maurice Bailey for Monteverdi-Young, featuring a distinctive clover-shaped bi-color travertine top in a parquet pattern. The sculptural base combines warm wood, black lacquered supports, and gilt carved accents, all resting on brass casters. An elegant and highly recognizable design that blends Hollywood Regency and modern influences. Beautiful variation in the travertine showcases the natural veining and texture of the stone. A striking statement piece suitable for a living room, lounge, or conversation area. Good vintage condition with very minimal age-appropriate wear, including minor surface and edge wear, and natural variations inherent to the travertine. The base is perfect and the casters roll smoothly.
