Biography:
James Martin, (1926-2021), is a master wood sculptor who worked for George Nakashima for two year and then started his own wood sculpting shop/studio in 1963 in New Hope, PA. Martin exhibited alongside the other New Hope Artists: Phil Powell, Nakashima and Paul Evans in the 1960s.
