Mid Century Modern vintage organic coffee table or side table from maple by Max Kment for Kunstgewerbliche Werkstätten Max Kment, 1950s Vienna.
A wonderful side table or sofa table from maple tree and cord with clear glass plate by Max Kment 1950s Vienna.
Such a beautiful organic sofa table in perfect dimensions topped with a clear glass plate. The base is partly wrapped with cords. Four club shaped legs are connected with the cord wrapped elements and hold the rectangular glass plate.
The design from this sofa table was created in Vienna 1955 but it gives a far eastern impression through the simple feel. The sofa table or side table could blend perfectly with Art Deco interior as well as Organic interior. The color hues soft white and pastel would wonderfully work, the simple and timeless look also allows matching with bold and strong jewel color tones.
The wooden parts are refinished and the cord shows no damage, the condition is very good and ready to live.
