THE LINE PERSPEX coffee table The swan shaped table made of the combination of the reclaimed 300/400-year-old oak and perspex. The table has the precisely cut out handle at the top platform ensuring the effortless portability and the functional slot for magazines or laptop. Based on THE LINE Coffee Table, Babker Street Boys created a version that replaced raw steel with strong bended perspes for a clean, minimal look. It is a statement piece in which plastic serves as indisposable material. The idea of the design is to be kept for generations thus denying the usual approach to plastic objects. THE LINE PERSPEX Coffee Table is also the member of the premier collection THE LINE created by, Baker Street Boys' co-founder and designer, Tomasz Danielec. The collection embodies the designer’s motto ‘Minimalism is the Future’. The uncluttered design and clean lines, folded into functional shapes, in a simple but effective way emphasize the beauty and the uniqueness of the natural materials. At Baker Street Boys the craftsmanship is reflected in their ethos: ''Through a minimalist approach we transform the ordinary materials into luxury experience." For the creation of their designs they use skilled craftsmen from south-east Poland known for their exceptional training in both metalwork and woodwork. They cooperate with the local artisans towards whom they have special, emotional attachment as they are from the village where Baker Street Boys' designer, Tomasz Danielec, was born and raised. They source all of the materials from France, Italy, UK, Germany and Poland. For each table there is the authenticity and product care card attached. Certified. Made in Poland, in Twardawa Castle.
