About

From his studio in Mexico City, Genaro Alvarez created furniture of extraordinary beauty by mixing multicolored mosaics with bit pieces of glass. His designs range from the figurative to the abstract. The surface of this table is, actually, a small mural of brown, sienna, ocher, cream and white gradient tiles--with subtle pre-hispanic symbols in bits of golden mirror--all framed in bronze and supported by four formidable legs of the same. A beautiful example of the talent of the artist. Signed piece in pristine condition.
