Post Modern Illuminated Rose, Pink and Grey Marbleized Concrete Coffee Table

About the Item

Uniquely crafted Post-Modern Italian coffee table, cocktail or tea table, or large side table. This eye-catching table features a beautiful cast concrete top that has been painted with swirling clouds of marbleized color to give this concrete the look of exotic stone. The marbleization includes shades of pale powder blue, stormy grey-blue, muted salmon pink and smokey rose. Punctuating these whirls of color are jewel-like pieces of glass in bright colors including emerald, amber, ruby and sapphire. These transparent pieces are illuminated from underneath creating a striking glow, as seen in the photographs. The concrete surface is supported by a wooden base which is enameled in a soft gray with undertones of blue. The jewel-like pieces are lit by two strip bulbs which can be found when the concrete surface is lifted off. There is a button for turning these lights on and off on the underside of the table by one of the legs. The cord to connected to the lights has been threaded through the leg of the table and comes out the other side. This distinct cocktail table would be a great addition as part of a classic or contemporary living room, den, man (or woman!) cave, family room, office or bedroom. It would also be an apt choice in a corporate, retail or hospitality location such as a boutique hotel lobby, cocktail bar, members club, workspace studio, executive office or in a luxe clothing emporium.
