Studio Apotroes Solid Oak Honeycomb Coffee Table
About the Item
One of two studio apotroes tables inspired by the homes of bees. This solid wood coffee table features hexagonal cells of different heights at different heights to mimic the organic nature of a freshly cut piece of honeycomb. It is a contemporary take on an organic design and perfect for living rooms, showrooms, or offices. The Honeycomb Coffee Table in three different wood options: walnut, oak, and a mix of oak and walnut (other wood species available upon request). It comes standard with a 1/2in 3x4ft glass top. Travertine or another stone is available upon request for an additional price. The Honeycomb Coffee Table is available in two sizes: a standard size and a smaller size designed for apartments. It comes in three heights for the most comfortable fit depending on the spatial and seating requirements.

studio apotroes, is a sustainable material and furniture company challenging existing understandings of what home looks and feels like to create the future of living. Marrying traditional and new fabrication techniques and materials studio apotroes aims to push the boundaries on the contemporary understanding of furniture design and materiality to provide a new image of sustainability that is inclusive of multiple aesthetics. Through our designs and products, we want to not only offer practical home goods designed to last multiple lifetimes but also explore what and how those goods can be produced to outlive the owner with minimal environmental impact. A majority of our pieces are made in our San Antonio and NYC-based studios but also partner with local craftspeople to bring some of our other designs to life. studio apotroes is not a big box store or a mass production company, we are a small design studio that wants customers to love and cherish each piece they bring into their home for generations to come.
