Vintage Thonet Sofa Table with Ring Design, Austria, circa 1970
About the Item
Beautiful midcentury Thonet sofa table with ring design out of Austria, circa 1970. The wide bentwood disks hold slender, slightly sloping legs, creating a very special shape. The whole base consists of bentwood and was trimmed to a nice mahogany look, fitting perfect to the top plate which is veneered in with fine mahogany as well as the bottom. A timeless designed coffee/ sofa table from the famous company of Thonet from the late 20th century, in perfect restored condition, marked on the bottom with the famous paper mark.
