A highly unusual and chic pair of circa 1840 French Troubadour 'Gothic' style console side tables having convex isosceles trapezoid or trapezium form rounded breakfront Carrara marble tops on corresponding shaped bases painted in shades of 'pink ochre', cream, putty, and turquoise with carved and applied 'tracery' on front aprons connecting segmented pointed-arch tapered legs. Provenance: Westchester, New York estate with interiors decorated by legendary interior design firm Parish-Hadley.
