About the Item
An Elegant French Mid-Century Modern Neoclassical black lacquer and Ebonized Demi-lune console attributed to the French 1940's master decorator, Andre Arbus. This timeless wall console features sensuous, slender tapered legs with handcrafted and sculpted brass sabots that are delicately fluted at their tops. There are also brass cap finishing details at the top of the legs. The beautiful brass details and black lacquer harmonize and highlight each other. The exquisite form and color balance of this piece is refreshing and transformative for any interior, modern or traditional.
