Beautifully painted Sheraton period satinwood demilune card table, the top having a still life of fruits in a basket above a garland of roses centered with cornucopia, foliate scrolls and swags below bordered by garlands of flowers joined by ribboned bows, with an outer band of interlaced husks on a brown ground with tulipwood crossbanding. The apron and legs with similar decoration and ebony and boxwood inlay. All decoration original, English, circa 1780.
