20th Century Inlaid Wood Italian Louis XVI Style Writing Desk, 1960
About
Italian writing desk from 20th century. Furniture richly inlaid in Louis XVI style in walnut, rosewood, maple, palisander and fruitwood. Desk finished for the center (see photo) of great quality and elegance. Furniture equipped with five front drawers of good capacity, central drawer without a key. Wooden top in character with very pleasant floral inlay. Furniture supported by four legs with an inverted pyramid trunk, also inlaid, of good solidity. Of excellent proportion, also ideal for professional use. It has some small veneer lacks and some signs of conservative restoration. Overall in good condition.
