About the Item
Elegant French Style Black Lacquer Desk with Inset Green Leather Top, probably American, circa 1950s. It has recently been refinished in black leather. The inset leather top is a beautiful deep green color and contrasts well with the black lacquer. It offers a voluminous amount of storage with five deep drawers. The back side of the desk is finished if you want to float it in a room. The kneehole dimensions are 24.25"H x 21.5"W.

- Condition:Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Very good condition. Recently refinished. The original inset green leather top has various surface scratches, rubs, stains, and wear commensurate with age and use. Couple areas of raised wood veneer around the edge of the leather. See last photo.
