About the Item

A fine late Georgian Davenport in the manner of Gillow Constructed in mahogany, rising from caster shod turned feet, the base of square form, having reeded columns to the angles, and a lockable side door enclosing four graduated drawers with brass knobs; the writing slope of sliding form, flanked by slides; the lifting top with a bead and reel edge, and having a tooled leather surface, and satinwood interior drawers.
