Louis XVI Style Chest with Pull-Out Writing Surface


This elegant Louis XVI style chest has a nice plank top of figured walnut and finely cast bronze hardware. This piece features a wonderful pull-out leaf with an ivory colored leather writing surface. The pull-out leaf is 27.5” wide and 13.75” deep. The piece has gilt brass trim on the two drawers. The legs are tapered and capped. The chest is finished with a lustrous wax to bring out the warmth of the wood.
