Stately original 1920's French Bureau Mazarin. This fine example offers an ebonized mahogany case with loads of eye-popping solid bronze decorations. Instantly recognizable by the stretcher and drawer configurations, the desk shown here was commissioned around 1920. Offering a robust taste of Regency, this desk appears to be a partners desk but, is not therefore, this gorgeous desk or dressing table can float within a room and doesn't need to be placed or butted against the wall. The stenciled and tooled leather top, lion head escutcheons, drop drawer pulls and hairy paw feet showcase a time gone by. This fine desk offers the owner a unique and exciting opportunity to blend everyday function with the appearance of a true antique. This desk will knock your socks off, don't miss it!!
