Unique Italian Free-Standing Corner Desk in Oak

About the Item

Custom-made desk, oak, brass, metal, Italy, 1950s An Italian architect or furniture designer with great eye for proportions planned this free-standing, functional desk with two corners for a client in the 1950s. The light, elegant appearance is combined with two modular parts. Firstly, the main desk with a wide tabletop that can be placed at any preferred position with the side table/cabinet part. A small side table on the same height as the main tabletop is placed in an angle to a low cabinet with diverse storage facilities also on the outside. Highlighted in a mint-green color, the drawers and the vertical adjusted shelves catch the eye. What characterizes the table even more is the dynamic design of the metal legs. In a vivid way the v-shaped legs are combined with wooden elements. The well-balanced composition of this custom-made desk is striking.
