19th Century Light-Brown French Antique Provincial Oakwood Dining, Trestle Table

About the Item

An important and substantial French Provincial Oakwood trestle table with base construction, in good condition. This antique table has very clean and strong lines and proportions. The table top rests upon a framework that is supported by three bell shaped uprights, each in a turn mounted to flared. Extended feet with a scrolled shape for extra stability this table will survive for centuries to come. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1800, Provence, France.
