An early 19th century painted, Gustavian, two-leaf oval extension table with square tapered legs. A beautiful and versatile piece that can be used as a pair of console tables, a small round table, or extended with one or two leaves when entertaining.

The Gustavian Style, named after King Gustav III of Sweden, is a restrained interpretation of the French Louis XV and Louis XVI style. King Gustav III was enamored with the neoclassical style and therefore created his own interpretation for Sweden.
